Feed a cold.

Colds suck. Mine started yesterday morning with a burning in the back of my throat, slightly similar to the feeling you get after burping too hard and puking a little. Now my sinuses are clogged, my eyes are all puffy, and all I want to do is go to bed and die.

In an effort to stave off the infection, in the past 30 hours or so, I’ve ingested the following:

4 Airborne tablets
3 cups of hot tea
8 Halls cough drops
72 ounces of water
1 Jamba Juice Coldbuster Smoothie
1 bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
2 bowls of super hot chili (Why I have it in my head that spicy things fight off colds, I have no idea.)

Unfortunately, none have had any lasting effect. Except for the chili. But it wasn’t exactly the effect I was going for.

Apologies to anyone within a 5 foot radius of me.

I can’t imagine anything pleasant resulting from combining chili and a cold.

I’d recommend a grandmother’s chicken soup.

I’m glad I decided against going to Chicago this weekend.

I need to get an oil change.
I need to cut my hair.
I need to deposit my checks.
I need to get my absentee vote.

I need to live.

Get well soon.

And live, too.

I’ve managed the ward off having a cold for over a year now **knocks on wood**

Hot tea usually does it for me. Even though I know it’s not actually helping, it soothes my soul.

Actually the best medicine I’ve taken for a cold was this generic brand I bought from Publix. Seriously, it knocked my ENTIRE cold out in less than two days. No other medicine has come close to it’s magically effects.

Hope you start feeling better soon!

i hope you feel better soon.. i think you should eat healthier things, like blend garlic, carrot, oranges and other fruits n veggies together… it’ll be a boost for your immune system. gross, but boost-y

someone forced me to drink hot gin with slices of ginger in it. it was the most disgusting thing i ever drank and it did not help. i know it sounds tempting, but don’t try it.

you probably don’t even have that cold anymore.
